What is entirely wrong with that? Once you get it stretched out I think it will look good and take a look at interiors car car shows and you will see thread in the seam at times. I would take it apart and redo if really picky otherwise leave it.

My advice is make sure your using a 500,000 double rub on this job. Lots of abrasion!

@ctmk2 , common thinking about the machine and its ability to go through material. I have ran into this exact thing in the past even went to a sail shop and used their long arm. Well the needle just jammed into a dead stop. That is a technical procedure and I do a lot of my visors the packard way.

@orion1210 , with any luck we will learn the secret of that procedure. I have been trying for a long time and never get tit to lay down like that ever. I always get creases that are much larger and what color are you doing that in?

Singer 111G 156 ha ha. I almost have this timed but not quite. Took the hook out to replace but singer online hook replacement did not fit was too long. A good machine for mending when needed but does not run like it did before I removed the hook.

So many odd projects come in that need power that are not just fabric and foam, rubber, heavy canvas, straps, PLASTICS. Thats why multiple machines.

I am going to stick with the speed reducer and clutch. I have too many thick dirty projects to contend with and need power. I cannot speak for the servos do not have them on my machines. @adam12 can help you with this he set me up.

I had my own likes but as my shop has evolved into varied projects I have just taken the advice and purchase from Adam12 on here. He know proper machinery for your application, knows his stuff and is trustworthy.

Just running a project and using American E thread. Do you know where this is really made seems funny they chose that name. I have a thread unravelling issue every time I cut the thread now but no fraying.It sounds like the thread you liked may be similar to U-Bond.

There has to be a trimmer around to repair that properly and with matching material. I would not hesitate to replace that welt cord.

@Redcoat , You cannot cover over the cloth. You need to strip everything down. Like I advised do a back first that will be safe and sound.
