I'd like to create a web site.

I'm having a hard time trying to figure out how I want it to look and what types of things I should have and what hosting company I should go with.

If anyone has any experience with this or could post a link to your site for inspirations it would be greatly appreciated.

I tried to ad a page on Facebook but no matter what I try I keep getting "page name invalid"

I maintain a we site for two hobby clubs. One for flying model airplanes and one for a car club. That runs a little over $400.00 a year total. The two clubs split the cost of the site so that helps them both. You do a search for the top web site hosts on Goggle or Firefox. I picked 5 of the ones that would let you try out there software for a payment of one month charge. If you didn't like the way their program worked, you could get a full refund. Only took me a few hours to decide that I would keep the one I was using. I use Homestead Site Builder. Depending on how much space you need, you can get a better price than I have. I am using maybe 40 pages and that is a lot.

I don't see my self needing much but then again, you don't know what you don't know.

My initial thoughts were a simple home page and perhaps a photo gallery.

I was looking at WIX and one of the first things they recommend was taking a look at other web sites in your genre and seeing what you like and what not.

Well, I really wasn't finding much which was what prompted me to ask you guys.

I have a website https://revvup.net/ that I struggle with because I have no interest in learning the lingo and spending the countless hrs setting it up. I paid someone to do it and any major upgrades, the little stuff I will suffer through my self .
