Is anyone familiar with fibertex for making patterns? Also, is the old material always used as the guide for making patterns or can a pattern be made by tracing the foam or is there another way?

I use the old patterns a lot . Have to be ware that old material does stretch out of shape over time.
I like to draw my own patterns when i can , i feel they give a true fit and i can accurately do the seam allowances.

@Janet , I am a pure lucky needle trained trimmer and the videos John puts out will help you clear that issue. If the pattern looks original from a manufacture I tend to copy.
