@Adam12 , you are thinking drainage instead of blockage. I think that makes sense at least no water will get trapped forever.

I would like to know more about the plastic. Is this a particular gage of clear vinyl plastic you are referring to ? I have not used a plastic backed scrim yet either.

It has a nice sheen for Top Stitching. Keep in mind it is not going to have the strength as the Serabond but will last long if the bike is a weekend tripper.

I am looking to see if anybody has an budget/creative ideas for door panel material for aviation. I already know of aluminum, fiberglass and commercial panel material premade. Material costs are right at about budget and I only need a small panel FR.

@Plh , I did one for a service shop in serafil TX138. I see the bike around and the seat is holding nice and thread is fantastic.

Vinyl is not the strongest material for listing maybe try some canvas or denim

I have seen that done and with a space pen type. I would put the sharpies in a drawer t that ink will bleed when you dont expect it.
