Have you ever ordered a 4-6 pack of Big bobbin cases and have 1 or 2 that just don't work? Could be the backing spring steel or the tension adjustment, I have a couple that don't want to work, the tread pulls out fine, tension is good, back spring feels right, and looks like the rest. When I put it in the machine it doesn't want to work, the thread is super hard to pull out. I can put another bobbin case in, one that works properly and all is good.
