The seat foam was full of water just like a HUGE sponge!

I too am looking for a way to waterproof other than the plastic that goes under the covers as stock.

@Smooooth. I saw that video too. I cant figure out exactly what he did though. It looks to me like he used contact cement on the pleats before he used the press.

I really just call them Johns Diamonds. I have done this numerous times and all Johns way. I know there are templates you can trace but that stretch of diamonds is a yard long! The picture makes that seat look small. BTW the seat kicked my ass and threw me into a slump so I jumped on a headliner just to ad to my misery

Thanks so much for the replies some good looking work. I wish tgat he would elaborate on the pleats for that bike seat. Notice no one in these videos shows the exact process or what materials they use. Its like top secret! Will get to the bottom of this thanks for all the help so far
