Hello everybody,
I'm hoping someone can help me with this repair. The padded arm of my office chair is showing some veining/cracking. My goal is to prevent it from getting worse. I’ve never done this type of repair, so any advice would be most helpful and appreciated.

Thanks for taking the time to read and suggest.

I don't think that there is much you can do with that stuff. lt will just continue to flake off. At least that is what I have experienced. I have a leather jacket that was made from faux leather and anywhere it folds or gets much bending such as elbows and shoulder. Sam thing with chairs made with that leather. I have heard the term processed leather. If anyone has a solution, I would like to know how it is done.

I've seen a couple of YouTube videos on vinyl repair, worth taking a look, but it's only going to be temporary as it's a glue and paint solution. Only reupholstering the chair will bring it back to "like new".
