Anybody familiar with how to disassemble this headrests

Is that bottom piece plastic and what is it from? Can you post a photo from the bottom

I’ve tried To pull it out now I’m tryna cut it off but it’s lik it’s maybe glued not sure if it’s a easier way

Looks like the end with the split in the upholster is the side you start with to remove it. It looks like the other side is the starting point to install it.
If it is glued you will have to steam it real good to get the adhesive to release.
