I plan to cover the seats of this stool myself but I would like to have the bar backs reupholstered professionally. If possible, I would like to remove the backs myself so that I don't have to transport the entire chair. I initially assume that they were attached to clips and hoped that taping the bottom with a mallet would raise them off their connections. I tried this with no luck. They are attached to the upper portion of the back in two places on the back horizontal support and to the lower portion of the back on each of the vertical supports (4 total attachments). I have attached a picture of what I can see of one of the attachments on the back support.

Do you have picture of the bottom of the back, as well as 3 sides of the seam along the edge.
