Good afternoon,
My name is Scott. I have done alot of upholstery work over my time but this one just isn't cooperating. What do I need to do to fix the wrinkles in these seat backs?

This cushion is zipped on the back. It is a removable cushion for an RV dinette. I have tried tightening by sewing another 1/8 in to the radius which also tightened up my anchor flap. I also tried the steamer. It did improve some.

I'm far from being an expert but it just looks to me that there isn't enough foam or the covers are just too big.

I agree. The covers are too big and/or is it old foam? Sometimes, old foam (or low-compression foam) doesn't have enough spring left in it to push against the cover.

If you have some really good/thick batting, add a good layer all around your foam and try it again and see if it takes up the difference.
