I'm building a seat using zig zag springs. Using 8 gauge springs. I weight @ 230 lbs. How far apart should I space the between the edges of the springs? How far from the edge of the frame should the edge of my last spring be? Right now I've laid them out where I have 7 springs across. There is an 5/8" gap between edges of the spring and @ 11/16" from the edge of the last spring and the inside of the frame. I have wire covered in jute with clips to ties the wire to the spring across the frame. How high should the springs be, I was told no more than 2"?

I'm using a couple of these kits and will cut the springs to the correct length.

I spaced the spring 1" apart.
