In my opinion yes. Ive never used Neophil. Coats ultra dee bonded poly is what I have used for years. Lots of other trimmers use this as well. But really your fine as long as you get UV protected bonded polyester. Only problem I have with ultra dee its hard to find in larger sizes above 138.

This is why I will probably be switching to serabond once I run out of my coats stock. Serabond is supposed to be really really good. Its what most of the top guys are using, its cheeperin price and comes in a ton of sizes and colors.

It is way different than Coats, not silky like coats Ultra Dee and a thinner thread than their. It appears strong. It is not a pliable as Coats (soft). There is a noticeable difference between the two threads>
