Any one on here ever use them? Tenera is one and there are a couple other PTFE style threads..

I have used SolarFix a few times on some outdoor building awnings. Same thing as Tenera. I liked it. Lots of people complain about sewing issues with it. Like skipping stitches, etc... I never had any problems with it. For me the only reason it makes sense to use it is on projects that will be out side in intense sun %100 of the time.

What are you thinking about using it for?

That is a good use for it. I only ever did a few boat covers. I really didn't like doing them so I stopped taking on those jobs. I would considering offering that as an option at a higher price point. Especially because your covers are going to last years longer than the standard covers if you use sunbrella and PTFE thread. .
